About IPN
The Indian Psychologists Network (IPN), formerly known as Indian Psychologists Group is a network based on mutual beneficial information sharing and interaction by psychologists across India and those psychologists from India, living abroad.
Vision
- "To transform psychological knowledge to action for the wellbeing of all."
Journey
- What was started as an information sharing group has culminated in this platform to share the activities of psychologists to the larger audience of the professional community. This web portal will provide opportunities for the members to share information on conferences, workshops, seminars, international opportunities, new courses, job positions, internship opportunities and scholarships for psychologists. Sharing information on major research publications of individual members including books are encouraged.
Objectives
The network was initiated with the following objectives:
- To enlist the psychologists of our country and to encourage networking.
- To share information with the members about professional development programs and activities.
- To help identify psychologists of similar interests and facilitate them to conduct collaborative research or activity.
- To promote academic discussion and programs.
- To break barriers and to encourage dissemination and exchange of ideas among members irrespective of their professional standing.
- To provide mentoring and support to fellow psychologists in need.
- To institute scholarship for students who are meritorious as well as for those who are in financial need.
We are hopeful that we will be able to serve the people at large for whom we have
opted to serve through the initiatives of this network.

Girishwar Misra is an Indian social scientist, psychologist, and author who was born on April 21, 1951. Gorakhpur University awarded him an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Psychology.
Dr. Nov Ratthan Sharma
Dr. Nov Rattan Sharma is a Professor at Maharshi Dayanand University, India. He received his PhD at Maharshi Dayanand University, Haryana, India, 1987.
Prof. Sonali De
Sonali De is a Professor of Psychology in the University of Calcutta, India, and She is served as the departmental chair 2013 to 2015 and 2018-2020.
Prof. U. Vindhya
U. Vindhya, Ph.D. is a former Professor of Psychology and Deputy Director, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad campus.
Prof. V.G. Mathew
Prof. VG Mathew taught Psychology in Kerala University till 2002. He has published many research papers and popular articles. He has also developed a system of Psychology called Holigrative Psychology.
Dr. Vimala Veeraragavan
Professor Dr. Vimala Veeraraghavan, Doctorate in Psychology, is a double M.A. from Delhi University, and also a Gold Medalist in Masters in psychology.
