Job Description:
1. The Department of Geology and the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam (Kerala); IIT Roorkee; and the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA), Gangtok, are jointly undertaking an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR)-funded project titled “From Multi-Hazard Risk to Resilience: A Longitudinal Social Science Study on DRR Policy and Planning in Sikkim.”
2. Both Field Investigators will be expected to work jointly and in close coordination throughout the project, including in fieldwork, data collection, documentation, and other project-related activities. The jobs entail extensive travel within Sikkim.
Duration of the Project: Till August 2030
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview at Sikkim University, Gangtok. The selected candidate is expected to join immediately after the appointment. Initially, the appointment will be made for three months and it may be extended till the completion of the project, subject to satisfactory performance. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Remuneration: 20,000+ HRA @ 9%
